When it's come to movies, there's nothing more dramatic and interful than a  suspense thriller. Here's a list of 10 best - in no particular order- modern day suspense thrillers every suspense lover must watch. But hey these are my favorites and if you can't find your favorites in the list write it in the comments.

                                   1.   Se7en ( IMDB- 8.6/10 , Rotten Tomatoes- 80%)

This is one of the best of all psychological thrillers and also one of the best movie of Brad Pitt despite of it some people still don't take Brad Pitt seriously as an actor. But the fact is he and Morgan Freeman were spot on  their respective roles in this thriller movie along at the same time Kevin Spacey nailed it as a creepy serial killer and that ending is perfect for this kind of movie.

2. Zodiac ( IMDB-7.7/10 , Rotten Tomatoes-89%)

This is one of the favorite movie of all time. Thanks to solid writing and compelling plot.Zodiac tells the story around late 1960s and early 1970s about a manhunt of a serial killer who calls himself "Zodiac"

3.The silence of the lambs(IMDB-8.6/10 , Rotten Tomatoes-95%)

The silence of the lambs is a American multiple Oscar winning thriller directed by Jonathan  Demme. Jodie Foster stars as Clarice Starling a top student at the FBI's training academy, who seeks advice from imprisoned Dr. Lecter to apprehend another serial killer, known only as "Buffalo Bill "

4.Shutter Island (IMDB-8.1/10 , Rotten Tomatoes-68%)

While investigating the disappearance of a patient , leo is marooned on the island by hurricane and walk across a inexplicable ward 'C'. It is a brilliantly constructed secrecy.

5. The sixth sense (IMDB-8.2/10 , Rotten Tomatoes-85%)

This is a story is about  a child psychologist and his young patient who "sees dead people". Filmgoers call it masterpiece of M.N.Shyamalan thanks to solid writing and powerful performance by young actor Haley Joel Osment.

6. The usual suspects (IMDB-8.6/10 , Rotten Tomatoes-88%)

One movie you can watch and the ending never gets old, thanks to the plot twist at the end.The most famous dialogue of this movie was  "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convinced the world he didn't exist". Now this is not exactly a thriller but its a masterpiece from Bryan Singer and a must watch.

7. Prisoners (IMDB-8.1 , Rotten Tomatoes-81%)

In my opinion this is the most underrated movie of 2013.This story asks the ques how far can you go to protect your child? Keller Dover(Hugh jackman) is facing every parent's worst nightmare. His six-year-old daughter, Anna, is missing, together with her young friend, Joy.

8. Gone girl (IMDB-8.2 , Rotten Tomatoes-88%)

Gone girl is a psychological thriller movie directed by David Fincher. This movie is exhilarating. The best thing about the above trailer is that it only just scratches the surface, shows you only what you need to know before you watch it. That's what trailers should do.

9.Old boy (IMDB-8.4/10 , Rotten Tomatoes-80%)

The only moral of this story is don't spread rumors and also if someone imprisons you for 15 years rip that bastard's eyeballs out of his fricking head with a hammer as soon as you get the chance.

10. Black Swan (IMDB-8/10 , Rotten Tomatoes-87%)

This movie is an EXPERIENCE! A ballet dancer wins the lead in "Swan Lake" and is perfect for the role of the delicate White Swan - Princess Odette - but slowly loses her mind as she becomes more and more like Odile, the Black Swan.
